ABOUT DRIFTLESS RANCH WRESTLING CAMPS
Driftless Ranch Wrestling Camps are built around a simple idea: elite wrestling instruction in an environment that challenges athletes, builds character, and creates lasting memories.
Each summer, wrestlers from across the country travel to our working ranch in the Driftless Region for a unique blend of high-level training and authentic camp life. Last summer, we welcomed over 150 wrestlers from 7 states, all sharing the same core mindset: work hard, compete honestly, and enjoy the process.
Our camps emphasize intentional teaching and real application. Athletes train multiple times per day, developing fundamentals like baseline defense, tie control, leg attacks, scrambling, and top systems such as anchor rides and crossface cradles. Technique is reinforced through situational wrestling, match nights, and consistent live competition.
Driftless is proud to host world-class clinicians who bring both credibility and humility to the mat. Last summer’s staff included Zan Fugitt, Royce Nilo, Devin Bobzien, Cayden Henschel, Aeoden Sinclair, Macey Kilty, Seth Gross, and Ryan Stroud- each focused on teaching wrestling that translates directly to competition.
Beyond the mat, life at the Ranch is about balance and connection. Campers experience pool time, outdoor games, campfires, movie nights, team meals, and hands-on ranch activities that build confidence, friendships, and a deeper love for the sport.
Driftless Ranch is more than a wrestling camp. It’s a place where athletes leave better- on the mat and off.
